Today is Holy Thursday/Maundy Thursday. This is the day where we commemorate the Lord's supper, the institution of the Eucharist and the priesthood. On the night he was betrayed, he went down to wash the feet of his disciples. This is an act of humility and service. For he the lord and master can go down and wash the disciples feet, we must do it among ourselves. Love ! Thats the commandment. Maundy means Commandment. On this day we sing the Pange Lingua.

"Could you not watch one hour with me?" (MT. 26:40)
How beautiful it is to venerate the Body of Christ. Just how many of us are willing to spend at least ONE hour with him? Perpetual Adoration of the Holy Eucharist.

At the Last supper, Jesus tell his disciples to take the bread and eat it for it is MY BODY which will be given up for you and for all. He took wine and tell his disciples to drink the cup for that is HIS BLOOD.
